“Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.†– Matt 9:29
As we begin this week, let us reflect on the many promises God has given us which assure us that because of our faith, “it’s already done!†This holiday season, let’s make a commitment to be thankful for what we already know God is working out in our favor!
Thoughts to Ponder: The Lord is always with us. His Word is lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. (Psa 119:105) What does this mean? That the Holy Spirit is always there to direct us, guiding us onto the path of righteousness and pulling us into our blessed place! Jesus frequently told seekers of deliverance that because of their faith, they were healed. The same is still true for us because we serve a God that is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore! Whatever your situation is; whatever your trials may be; whatever may be afflicting you at this moment, your deliverance is dependent on your faith – and your healing is according to your belief in the Word of God and the promises held within it! Have you submitted to His Will? Does God know that you will love Him no matter what happens? When God knows that His Will is more important to you than the desires of your heart and He sees that you are committed to obeying Him, He will begin to open the windows of heaven upon you and shower blessings out in such full abundance that you won’t know what to do with them! (Mal 3:10)
Prayer: Father God, I come to You asking for favor. Lord, I am seeking Your face and submitting wholly to Your Will. Lord God, I thank You in advance for all of the many blessings that You have in store for me – life, health, strength… Father God, I thank You for all of the many blessings I have already seen manifested in my life! Lord, I give You the glory and the praise for where I am right now, where I was yesterday, and where I will be tomorrow. The road has not always been easy and sometimes the load doesn’t seem to be getting any lighter; but Father God, I stand on Your Word which tells me that Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light. (Matt. 11:30) Father God, I trust You when You tell me that You will give me rest! Lord God, please direct my path, Father; order my steps so that I remain in Your protection and provision. Father God, I ask that You walk with me each day. I thank You for waking me this morning and for giving me last nights’ rest. You are a good God. You are excellent! Thank You, Father God, in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ! Amen.
Have a Merry Christmas and
a Happy and Joyous New Year!!!
