Psa 150:6Â Let every living creature praise the LORD. Shout praises to the LORD!
How many times have you excused yourself when you realize you haven’t been spending enough time in prayer; spending enough time with God… by saying He knows your heart and He knows you love him? If you were to treat your other relationships that way, none of them would be successful. There is only so long I would be able to take for granted that my husband knows I love him – to mentally love him without expressing affection toward him physically and spiritually. After a while, that would become a problem. The same is true for my relationship with God.
I cannot just continuously say He KNOWS…
I have to show Him. I have to love Him physically, mentally, and spiritually. I have to reflect my love for him in the behaviors I exhibit and the actions I take. Today, reflect on how you display proof of your love for God. The world doesn’t have to see it for God to see it, but if you stay focused on God, the world cannot help but to see it in everything you do. You should never have to tell someone you are a Christian… that should be evident.
If your prayer time is limited to simply what is convenient for you, that isn’t sufficient. Decide where you are and figure out where you need to be… What life changes do you need to make so that you are able to show God your love… so that you are proving your dedication to Him not just with your words, but with your entire life?

This is just what I needed to hear today.
So true that we take the Lord for granted.
